During her career Christine has worked in the public sector in the design and delivery of employment programs and in the private sector as a marketing consultant. For the past 10 years her work has been in non-profit leadership, with six of those as executive director for a community based organization.
In 2019 Christine moved from the Okanagan to Abbotsford to be closer to family and worked in community living leadership. She also went back to school in 2019 and graduated last November. Christine holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Winnipeg and an MA in Leadership from Trinity Western University.
Over the years Christine has served on community boards related to economic development, youth services and education. She is currently a director for an Okanagan credit union.
Christine is married to Brent Petkau, an IT professional, and they are the parents of a son and a married daughter. Christine's children live with disabilities and she is empathetic to the needs and goals of others living with challenging conditions.
Rupinder holds a Degree in Criminal Justice, along with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector and a Non-Profit Management Certificate. This blend of qualifications equips her with a well-rounded perspective and the skills needed to effectively contribute to ESEBC’s mission.
As Program Manager, Rupinder is making a meaningful impact on the lives of those who rely on ESEBC's services.

As first point of contact for the public, volunteers and our member inquiries, Hannah is motivated to support, educate, and uplift individuals affected by epilepsy and seizures.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Health Sciences and Psychology from Simon Fraser University, Hannah has cultivated a deep understanding of human health and behavior. Hannah brings experience in administration and volunteer work within the not-for-profit sector along with a passion for creating positive change and an unwavering commitment to making a difference. Her goal is to create a supportive and empathetic environment where people can thrive and overcome challenges.
