Steps of Hope 2026
Thank you for helping make Steps of Hope 2026 such a meaningful day for our epilepsy community. Together, we filled Mill Lake Park with kindness, connection, awareness, and hope.
A beautiful day of hope, connection, and community
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Steps of Hope 2026. From the walkers and families to our volunteers, sponsors, donors, community leaders, and four-legged friends in purple, your presence helped make the day feel meaningful and full of heart.
Every step taken helped bring more awareness to epilepsy and seizure education across British Columbia. Events like this help reduce stigma, open up conversations, and create a stronger sense of support for individuals and families affected by epilepsy.
Because of you, awareness keeps growing.
Steps of Hope is more than a walk. It is a reminder that community care matters, that education can change lives, and that no one should have to face epilepsy alone.

To our volunteers
Thank you for giving your time, energy, care, and kindness. From setup and registration to activities, photos, first aid, tickets, snacks, and clean-up, you helped make the day feel welcoming and organized.
To our community
Thank you to every person who walked, donated, shared our event, wore purple, brought a pet, stopped by to learn, or encouraged someone to attend. Your support means so much to us and our epilepsy community.
Thank you to our sponsors and supporters
We are so grateful to the businesses, organizations, and community supporters who helped make Steps of Hope possible.
Continuing the work beyond the walk
The Centre for Epilepsy and Seizure Education in BC provides epilepsy education, support, connection, and awareness programs across British Columbia. Steps of Hope helps us continue building understanding and creating safer, more informed communities for people affected by epilepsy.
Thank you for being part of this work. Your support helps keep the conversation going long after event day.
